NEC Business Phone System – How to Set and Cancel Do Not Disturb (DND)
NOTE: The instructions below apply to NEC DT800 IP Phones and NEC DT400 Digital Phones on the NEC SV9100 telephone system with InMail as well as NEC DT700 IP Phones and NEC DT300 Digital Phones on the NEC SV8100 Phone System.
If you need to work uninterrupted and do not want your phone to ring, enable the Do Not Disturb feature and all of your calls will automatically forward to your voice mailbox.
Steps to setting Do Not Disturb (DND):
- Press Arrow soft key for more options
- Press Prog soft key to program
- Select DND soft key – Do Not Disturb
- Press Set soft key to Set
- Select the type of calls you wish to forward directly to voicemail through DND.
- Press Ext soft key for External calls only
- Press Icm soft key for Internal calls only
- Press All soft key for both External and Internal calls
- Calls are now forwarded to your voice mailbox
Steps to cancelling Do Not Disturb (DND):
- Press Arrow soft key for more options
- Press Prog soft key to program
- Select DND soft key – Do Not Disturb
- Press Cncl soft key to Cancel
- Do Not Disturb is cancelled
